Graduation
Account Information:
ONYEN Policy: Student ONYENs will remain active for a minimum of one-hundred and eighty (180) days after official affiliation ends. Because graduation dates vary from year to year, the following schedule will be used for expiration of student ONYENs:
| Exit or Graduation | Date Onyen will Expire |
| Spring Graduation or Exit during Spring Semester | December 1st of same year |
| Summer Graduation or Exit During Summer Sessions | March 1st of following year |
| Fall Graduation or Exit during Fall Semester | July 1st of following year |
After graduation, you will no longer have access to ONYEN services, including Heelmail.
Request Alumni Email Account – This service is completely independent of the University’s email accounts. There is no automatic transfer of accounts.
2CH Course access will remain accessible to students indefinitely after graduation. Please know we are migrating the 2CH LMS platform to Canvas in the Fall 2022. We are not sure how long 2CH will stay active. Log onto 2CH and change your email to an alumni email or personal email to maintain access. If you need to change your password after your ONYEN and Heelmail expire, please contact Student Support at studentsupport@onlinemph.unc.edu.
